The shutter curtain is made of high quality aluminium slats available in several height and thickness options. The slat is lled with polyurethane foam. The bigger the slat the thicker the insulation, and thus the better the sound and thermal insu- lation of a roller shutter. When the roller shutters are pulled down an air cushion is created between the pane and the shutter curtain, and the strong insulating conditioned air cushion protects the interior against cooled air loss. In the summer the shutter curtain keeps away strong solar radiation and together with an air cushion they insulate the building against heat. Installa- tion of roller shutters in a building helps reduce energy consumption up to 30% in the heating season, and in the summer it allows to reduce the temperature inside the house by about 10°C.

You can control the amount of air and light permeating into the room by lowering or raising the roller shutter. Perforated shutter curtain allows the room to be ventilated when the roller shutter is pulled down.
 

Soundproof insulation and weather resistance
Modern roller shutters efficiently reduce sound levels by as much as 14 dB, and protect the window opening and façade of the construction against rain, and heavy wind.

- Manual lock – mounted on both sides of the end slat thus making it impossible to raise the roller shutter from the outside. The bolt is manually operated in order to lock the door.
- Self latching lock – does not require manual operation, it automatically throws and retracts the bolt into the holes in guide channels.
- Keylock–mountedtotheendslatortheslatforkeylock.Thebarsonbothsides of the end slat are thrown into the holes in guide channels with a turn of a key.
- Blocking holder, ‘lock to play’ holder – holders press down and block pulled down roller shutters thus making it impossible to raise them from the outside.
- Blocking bracket – the system, which has been patented by ANWIS, blocks the slat of a shutter curtain on the attempt to raise the roller shutter from the outside.
- Other security methods
The choice of electrically operated roller shutter solutions makes their operations comfortable, and guarantees proper locking of all roller shutters thanks to a feedback signal from the remote control. Presence simulation option e ciently protects your home from burglars. Another security method against break-in attempts is installation of an alarm system integrated with roller shutters.

EXTRUDED ROLLER SHUTTERS – ANGLED BOX

ANTI-BURGLARY

The AN 44 and PE 41 extruded profiles are recommended for use in facilities where security issues and aesthetics and burglary protection come first. The profile has been designed to have very good strength properties. Due to the high weight of the profile, electric drive is recommended.

Made from high-grade, powder-coated abrasion and weathering-resistant aluminum in a wide range of RAL colors. The coating obtained that way has a very good color fastness.
